Poster Prize for Gerald Rohde

At the Summer School ‘Exciting Excitations: From Methods to Understanding’, organized by the SFB 616: Energy Dissipation at Surfaces /University of Essen-Duisburg, Gerald Rohde, diploma student in Professor Bauers's group, was awarded a best poster prize. Gerald presented most recent data on the ultrafast dynamics of hot carriers in graphite and graphene as probed with ultrashort light pulses in the XUV spectral regime. The results were obtained in a close collaboration with the group of Prof. L. Kipp/PD K. Rossnagel.
